If you will read 17-20, you will see how angry God was because Israel chose to Fear Him yet serve other Gods because of the influence of the neighboring nations. His anger spared Judah for some time but even with that grace given Tribe of Judah still failed and He was also removed from the sight of God. They were conquered.
In verse 41 the last verse, isn't it very sad to hear that the people never stopped hurting God. "So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day." It is still happening until this day, in our own generation. One day the Anger of God will remove every people upon His sight. One day Judgement will come once and for all. You might think, how can this be applicable to us as believers? We don't serve graven images anymore. We don't serve Baal or what so ever; but search your heart. Is there anything or anyone that takes the Place of #1 in our hearts besides God. He actually should be THE ONLY ONE. No equality on earth can replace that position but if you take something else or someone else in the position where God belongs it is the same thing that Israel did. It can be as simple as our Jobs, our movie idols, money, hobbies, sports and even relationships. Anything that has became Lord of our lives. Today I pray Lord cleanse our hearts and help us to know WHO YOU REALLY ARE IN OUR LIVES. Lord God thank You for the life that You have given us, we are Yours and help us to understand that this is a borrowed life. A life that really doesn't belong to us. Help us to fix our eyes on what is Eternal and not to what is Temporary Lord. Thank You Jesus! Amen! Psalm 150New King James Version (NKJV)
Let All Things Praise the Lord 150 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! 3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! 4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! 5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! 😊😊😊🙌🏻 You woke up today, yes this day for a reason! God kept us alive today for a purpose, not for our own life and glory but for the kingdom of God. I do pray that as we open our eyes and realized that we are still breathing because anytime we can just not wake up from our beds, we will thank the Lord for an extra day and everyday live it like it's the last. And remember in case it's the last, "THINGS THAT WAS DONE FOR JESUS IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL LAST." Jesus help us to see Your sacrifice and love for us everyday. Help us to give back for Your Glory. Thank You Jesus! By Your Name Jesus! Amen! This morning, i flipped my bible and God brought me here. It's an amazing reminder for us as we still in the flesh that God gave us the authority to rule over. Here's a proverb frok King Solomon that hits my heart today. Have a blessed and joyful day everyone. 😊
Proverbs 25New King James Version (NKJV) "RULE YOUR SPIRIT." 25 These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied: 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. 3 As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings isunsearchable. 4 Take away the dross from silver, And it will go to the silversmith forjewelry. 5 Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness. 6 Do not exalt yourself in the presence of the king, And do not stand in the place of the great; 7 For it is better that he say to you, “Come up here,” Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen. 8 Do not go hastily to court; For what will you do in the end, When your neighbor has put you to shame? 9 Debate your case with your neighbor, And do not disclose the secret to another; 10 Lest he who hears it expose your shame, And your reputation be ruined. 11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver. 12 Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold Is a wise rebuker to an obedient ear. 13 Like the cold of snow in time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters. 14 Whoever falsely boasts of giving Is like clouds and wind without rain. 15 By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, And a gentle tongue breaks a bone. 16 Have you found honey? Eat only as much as you need, Lest you be filled with it and vomit. 17 Seldom set foot in your neighbor’s house, Lest he become weary of you and hate you. 18 A man who bears false witness against his neighbor Is like a club, a sword, and a sharp arrow. 19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble Is like a bad tooth and a foot out of joint. 20 Like one who takes away a garment in cold weather, And like vinegar on soda, Is one who sings songs to a heavy heart. 21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; 22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you. 23 The north wind brings forth rain, And a backbiting tongue an angry countenance. 24 It is better to dwell in a corner of a housetop, Than in a house shared with a contentious woman. 25 As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country. 26 A righteous man who falters before the wicked Is like a murky spring and a polluted well. 27 It is not good to eat much honey; So to seek one’s own glory is notglory. 28 Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls. Psalm 49:13-20
13 This is the way of those who arefoolish, And of their posterity who approve their sayings. Selah 14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; Death shall feed on them; The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling. 15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah 16 Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, When the glory of his house is increased; 17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away; His glory shall not descend after him. 18 Though while he lives he blesses himself (For men will praise you when you do well for yourself), 19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; They shall never see light. 20 A man who is in honor, yet does not understand, Is like the beasts that perish. Where is your heart set this time? Is it after Earthly treasures or heavenly treasures? God spoke through David about this. Isn't it funny when God refer to those rich people as foolish and not wise? It is not bad if we get well off in life because God do bless the work of our hands, but it will be foolishness to claim that it is all because of our own doing. The Kingdom of God is an upside down kingdom. I do pray Lord that we will be a good investors! Investors in the kingdom of Yours Father, because everything else will perish including our life at the end of the day but the salvation You have offered paid by the price in the calvary is for eternity. Examine your heart, does it beat like the Gods' heart. 😊 _For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also._ -Matthew 6:21 Good morning. Let's be prepared and guarded everyday of the schemes of the enemy. The favourite thing and the expertise of the serpent is to steal, kill and destroy. Let's not let the devil overcome us in any moment. Let's turn to God when we feel that the enemy is working. Let us not give in to the schemes and let's wear the full armor of God by reading His word! The Word of our Lord Almighty gives life.. He is life and the very giver of life.
So which part of your life do you think has no life at the moment; part of your life that the enemy might have stolen for awhile? Turn to Jesus and ask for life, ask for revival and resurrection. Good morning.. 😊Have a full of life LIFE..😊 Ok. Todays' Bible Reading is a bit tragic from the death of Joram, Ahaziah and Jezebel in 2 Kings 9-10. But with all the bloody things that have happened which Prophet Elijah already said to Ahab (king of Israel, husband of Jezebel) one thing that captured my heart today was the Question of Jehu,
Now when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab, coming to meet him; and he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?” And Jehonadab answered, “It is.” Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot. - 2 Kings 10:15 If God will ask you now of the same question Jehu asked, "IS YOUR HEART RIGHT?" What's gonna be your answer? Will it be "Yes, It is." Like the answer given by Jehonadab or will it be a silence? The question is not just Is your heart right? The full question is, "Is your heart right, AS MY HEART TOWARDS YOUR HEART?" #FathersHeart #MakemyheartBeatsLikeYoursGod #BreakMyHeartToWhatbreaksYours #MakeMyHeartLikeYours #RenewMyHeartEveryday #GodsLove #grace #gratefulHeart It's super awesome reading the bible from the very beginning and God sustained that excitement in my heart everyday to look forward what will happened next, so here goes the lesson God gave me today from 2 Kings 7, well there's two major points I got from the chapter but let me share the first one.
There were 4 Lepers sitting and just waiting to die in the gate of Samaria then one day they talked to each other and say "Why are we sitting here until we die?" So they got three choices, sit and wait to die, go inside the city of Israel and caught in the famine and die also or at least try to live, go to the syrian camp and take a risk to surrender themselves and if the enemy kills them then they die also. So they end up in an empty camp, God drives the syrians away and all the syrian possessions, garments, horses, chariots, everything was left behind and the 4 lepers feasted over those. They ate and drank and went from tent to tent to get the possessions. And after getting all those blessings and being merry for awhile they had this realization: 2 Kings 7:9 (NIV) 9 Then they said to each other, “What we’re doing is not right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let’s go at once and report this to the royal palace.” It is PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Good News is meant to be shared and SPREAD ALL OVER. We are called to be ambassadors of the Good news and Gods Love. We are called to proclaim the good news of salvation! All who receives the good news has to run excitely like the samaritan woman from the well to tell the world what we have received. So, ARE WE LIKE THOSE 4 LEPERS,
