Covenant is more than a promise. It is a divine agreement and contract between Us and God. He is a covenant mindful and keeper God. 😊🙏🏻 let's put into our hearts that whatever we commit for God and whatever He promises back to us as an agreement it will surely come to pass. Today I want us to be reminded of how great He is from all generations. He made a covenant with men and none of those failed. If today you want to dedicate your life to God make a covenant. In that way when things gets tough, when the road seems so tight and bumpy and everything are like breaking apart and you can't see victory at the end, when you are so weak and weary, when that day comes you will go back on that day you made a covenant with God. Not with yourself, not with other people, not with your mentor or church leader but covenant with God. Just the two of you. Gen. 9:8-17 Gen. 15:8-21 Exodus 24:3-8 2 samuel 7:4-29 Jeremiah 31:31-34 Heb. 8:6-13 #wordofGod #devotion #christianlife #covenant Today is IM PRAYING FOR YOU DAY! Do you pray for others always? Or it's always ME, Myself And I? I mean pray sincerely for our brothers and sisters and even our enemies! Jesus is praying for Us! John 17:9-26 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me,[a] that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world,[b] I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept;[c] and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[d] believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” Are you happy or joyful? Happi-ness is like being happy of what is HAPPE-ning around you, in your life. I'm happy I just got a new job, I'm happy because I just got engaged. Then what happened when the HAPPE-nings in your life turned upside down? Don't depend on what is happening in your life, depends on the satisfaction of God's love that is Joy. Joy comes from within, an internal and eternal peace from within that no matter what happened you are assured that you are love by God. Jesus said to His disciples, John 16:22-24New King James Version (NKJV)22 Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. 23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. May your joy be full in Jesus today and for the rest if your lives, stopped depending your happiness from the things around you, people around you or begged love from the people you want to be in your life, or career you are working so hard. Starting fulfilling an unexplanable joy found only in the comforting love of Jesus. True Joy comes from Jesus because true joy comes forth only after a great sorrow. Those who went through great pain and sorrow has the most Joy after. That is why we need Jesus to be truly Joyful. Because only God can fully heal anyone from great sorrow and pain😊😊😊 Have a full of Joy monday! When I opened the bible this morning this is what God has spoken, I was so relieved but sadden as well. This is exactly what's happening now. John 16:1-2New King James Version (NKJV)16 “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. Does this sound familiar? Hmmm.. The persecuters of christians will Praise God after they kill one and another and another. Have you ever marvelled and wonder why? Because it has been prophesied. This day will come when these people will think they are doing the right thing for who ever God they are claiming to be their God. But nevertheless Jesus said, "V3 And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me. 4 But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you." Hold on! Stand Firm on your faith my friend. Upon giving up our life to Jesus this world will hate us for this world is a fallen world, already set apart by sin from the Holy Father. Let's hold on to the promises of God, someday we will be in that place He prepared for us. 😊 no violence! No cruelty! No sickness! Nothing but worship, love and joy. 😊😊😊 So, last night i had a movie marathon with the charis girls and d13 girls. We started with soul surfer, Mom's night out and lastly Me Again. All the movies just made me realize how God planned ahead who we are. We need to be exactly who we are created for everything to make sense. Knowing who we are in the eyes of our creator is the only way to be happy and satistied for who we are. Different people have different journey to take. People have their own battle to fight and life to live. We can't be in our position right now wishing to be someone else or somewhere else. I love that scene in Mom's Night Out where in she is contemplating about how mess she is as a mother, a wife and a person and amazingly and unexpectedly she get the word of wisdon to a biker who don't seem to say anything good. He is a believer that is not very active in the church but knows confidently that Jesus loves him. That is what his mother have been telling him since he is a kid that "God will love you for who you are."He then said to the woman that she needs to be just who she is. He shared his moment while watching the eagle flies in the sky and how wonderful it is to watch the creation of God do exactly what they are made to do. Isn't it amazing also to see God's greatest creation doing exactly what our purpose here on earth? Why we are created? We often get to that woman's shoe also or the pastor in the "Me Again movie" who are not satisfied of his current life, we can relate greatly from them when we think that we are not good enough. For who? For the people around you? For God? Or for your own standard of who you should be? You are beautiful just the way you are, the way God created you and me! If today you are a mess, remember you are still a beautiful mess because you are God's MASTERPIECE! God can always turn test into a testimony and a mess into a message! No one is perfect but God doesn't want perfect He just want you to be who you really are. Don't ever doubt the love of God for you. Don't lose faith! There is always hope. 😊🙏🏻 Psalm 139:13-14New International Version (NIV)13 For you created my inmost being; I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; The Matter of the Heart Matters. Jeremiah 17:9 said our heart is deceitful and wicked. But we all know also that it is the very core of our being and if we don't let the Holy Spirit control it we might end up being led by our own heart. Be careful with the line, "JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART." You might be following a road to destruction. #wordofGod #warning #notetoself #wickedheart #devotion #Godsreminder #Godmoves #Godslove #Godspromise #allforJesus #guardyourheart #christianlife Sometimes it is easy to say we have faith, but when there is chaos and riot around us and everything we see is unstable can we still say that we have faith on God over the situation? It's easy to believe when we see it coming but what if God extend it a little bit to test us, will you stop believing half way? Brothers and sisters I encourage you to keep on believing the promises of God, keep on believing the favours of God and don't lose trust on Him. He is in control. Live by faith and not by sight. Stop looking upon the situation with your natural eyes but look forward and beyond. There is always something great that is about to happen every after challenges, there is always light at the end of the tunnel and there is always a rainbow after the rain though we never see it during rain. Hold on! Have Faith! It is coming! "Be still and know that He is our God!" Hebrews 11:1New King James Version (NKJV)11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. John 15:1-8 (NKJV) The True Vine 15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. God prunes so we can grow beautifully and the less we get the more we bear fruits. I always wonder during school days when the care takers prunes and cuts our yellowtops plants in the school while actually it still look good and just went high. Then they will cut it in one level and amazingly it will grow back with much brighter colors. In verse 2 Jesus said that anything that don't bear fruits will be taken away. In our mind we might think, yeah! They just deserve it. But going on we will read the part when Jesus said that those who bear fruits He will prune. Then we might say, God! We are bearing fruit how come you still put a knife or pruning tools to chop us off. I can be painful you know? Why do You need to take and cut? Is that what I get from bearing fruit? Well them that is exactly what God wants to do, he wants to shape us in the best shape that we can get and while bearing fruits due time there can also be some unwanted grass and unhealthy elements that grow alongside with us. He needs to take it off so we can continue to grow beautifully. Do you have some stuff in your life that needs to be chop off for you to bear fruit and grow? Some vices that needed to quit, bad habit that needs to turn away from, immoral or unwholesome relationship, unhealthy lifestyle? Whichever it is God will sure prune you until you thing you have less or even left with nothing at all but God, then you will realize while you have less there is more opportunity and space to bear more. 😊😊😊 Philippians 2:12-13New King James Version (NKJV)Light Bearers12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Work it Out!!! "Christ's image cannot be cultivated cheaply. Yes it is a gift given freely when we believe, but it's working out in daily life is COSTLY." - Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Our Salvation is free that is true. It was also given to us by the power of grace and by our own work but right at the moment that it was given freely to us what are we supposed to to after? Being Christ like doesn't happen overnight. It is not like when you wake up after sleep you are alreAdy transformed. Have you watch any transformation programs? Does it happen so quickly? Come on! Even the most recent technology can't do sucg transformation of one being in a day or an hour. How much more to transform our whole life. Maturity ib the walk with the Lord doesn't happen in a blink of an eye. We can not even get it in one sunday worshup service, conference and seminars. Becoming like Christ happens on our daily lives. We are being shaped and transformed in tge rough and tumble of real life. You will only know the real capacity of the items you bought once you tested it and so are we. We are in a daily basis test. We cannot be seasoned saints or children of God who knows how to act spuritual in the church or when life is easy but when serious pressure or injustice comes we react just like the world. We believers and followers of Christ are work in progress. We are redeemed once but being transformed daily. Our transformation is a daily and continuous process. If you think you are being stagnant in your walk with God or you seems to be in wilderness don't loss hope. God is not done with you yet! Hebrews 13:5-8New King James Version (NKJV)5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”[a] 6 So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; Concluding Religious Directions7 Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of theirconduct. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Footnotes:Honestly I have always been quoting that "God will never leave us nor forsake us" but i couldn't remember exactly where it can be found and when God led me to this passage last sunday I was overwhelmed with Joy. In whatever situations we may be in today, struggles and challenges that not only ours but also of the people we love and around us let's always keep in mind that He may seems silent in the midst of our storm we might not see Him at work through our struggles and we might not feel His presence He is just there. Call upon Him. He promised to be our helper and command us not to be fearful.(v6) Remember How God free israel from slavery He will do the same to you, Jesus healed the sick, Jesus stretched His arms to Peter when he is sinking and call upon the Name of God. Jesus forgave the adulterers when they Turned unto Him. Remember what He have done to our ancestors and His people long ago and even to the people who have shared the Gospel to you.(v7) Jesus touched their lives. He is Jesus the same as yesterday, today and forever.(v8) He will be the same God over your circumstances. Believe and Trust God He is at Work Always. He loves you and me and that love is unconditional and unchangeable. Have a Blessed and Wonderful day ahead.😊😊😊😊 Have you ever gave some time to think about the value of time? If there is one thing in this world other than the words you have uttered that you can never take back is TIME. There is no way you can bring back those time that already have passed. But you also don't need to live in misery and regret thinking how much you missed in your life. God designed this world in such a way that everything is given such a time to be done. When we are born in this world we need some time to grow up and life continues from there. Everything will fall in the right season of life. Every life scenarios and happenings have reasons. We might not understand it fully but there is a reason behind always. We just need to trust God. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Sometimes it's normal to ask why. Why things happened. Why did i loss my job? Why did my loved one died? Why did my partner left me or cheated on me? Why I got into this terrible accident? Why am I miserable while the rest is enjoying? You can actually avoid all those why's . Way back the year of 2009 God brought me to the book of Ecclesiastes one of the book that will give birth wisdom in your life. I read this Ecclesiastes chapter 3 and from then on my life verse was Ecclesiastes 3:1. Since that time what ever happened in my life I choose to praise God and wait until the reason why it happened be reaveled in the right time. In that thinking I always find myself in the end thankful. How about you? What comes in your mind when good things happend? How about when bad things happened? Will you blame God? Will you turn away from God? One line i will never forget from the movie "Facing the Giants", When we win we will praise God and when we loss we will still praise God! A Time for All Events in Life 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Man is Ignorant of God's Timing 9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Have you been waiting for God to answer you prayer or for God to fulfill whatever Vision He have shown you and put into your heart? Be patient. God always know when. He is all knowing. All we have to do is have faith that whatever He have promised to us will be fulfilled. Believe! Trust the Lord and wait patiently while you serve Him diligently. The Lord made Avraham wait for 25 years before his offsping finally came. He was tested many times but God was faithful. (-Gen. Chapter 12 to 18) He made Joseph go through tough times before the vision was fulfilled. God prepared him. He mould Joseph from those trials so he will be an effective man when his time comes. ( -Gen. Chapter 37 to 41) God tested David many times before he became king. His patience and character was tested. His life was put on risk many times. He escape in wilderness and God forbid him to kill king Saul twice. -(1Samuel chapters 16 to 31 and 2Samuel chapters 1 to 5) I will hold on to the vision you have shown to me and i will pray everyday for the strength to endure every struggles but this is my vow to be faithful on the vision though my natural eyes see the opposite side. In Jesus Name I pray Amen! I also pray for all those who are reading this right now, that you may have the same prayer. May you all stay, wait and trust and believe until God said NOW! #visionfromGod #waiting |
