So, last night i had a movie marathon with the charis girls and d13 girls. We started with soul surfer, Mom's night out and lastly Me Again. All the movies just made me realize how God planned ahead who we are. We need to be exactly who we are created for everything to make sense. Knowing who we are in the eyes of our creator is the only way to be happy and satistied for who we are. Different people have different journey to take. People have their own battle to fight and life to live. We can't be in our position right now wishing to be someone else or somewhere else. I love that scene in Mom's Night Out where in she is contemplating about how mess she is as a mother, a wife and a person and amazingly and unexpectedly she get the word of wisdon to a biker who don't seem to say anything good. He is a believer that is not very active in the church but knows confidently that Jesus loves him. That is what his mother have been telling him since he is a kid that "God will love you for who you are."He then said to the woman that she needs to be just who she is. He shared his moment while watching the eagle flies in the sky and how wonderful it is to watch the creation of God do exactly what they are made to do. Isn't it amazing also to see God's greatest creation doing exactly what our purpose here on earth? Why we are created? We often get to that woman's shoe also or the pastor in the "Me Again movie" who are not satisfied of his current life, we can relate greatly from them when we think that we are not good enough. For who? For the people around you? For God? Or for your own standard of who you should be? You are beautiful just the way you are, the way God created you and me! If today you are a mess, remember you are still a beautiful mess because you are God's MASTERPIECE! God can always turn test into a testimony and a mess into a message! No one is perfect but God doesn't want perfect He just want you to be who you really are. Don't ever doubt the love of God for you. Don't lose faith! There is always hope. 😊🙏🏻 Psalm 139:13-14New International Version (NIV)13 For you created my inmost being; I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Are you not relieved to know that you are a new creation after receiving Christ in your life? Isn't that a great promise? Have you imagined your scars from your childhood all of a sudden gone, wiped out? Or your previously disastrous teeth are all back to normal and complete again? How about all pimple marks in your face all got healed in a blink of an eye! Isn't that amazing? Let's go deeper, would you like to take a moment right now and look back on who you are before, are you happy with yourself before? Have you seen Anything you want to hide from the past? Anything you want to forget? Have you seen a stranger full of lies, dirt and hurt? Have you seen your old self trying to cope up in the demand of this world, never satisfied and always longed for ever greater in a worldy manner? Have you seen a person full of deceit and immorality? Or just a typical person who always to go just in between, can not choose for his life? When we come to Jesus He washed us clean from ours sins. We all became brand new by His grace. He gave us the right direction and covered us by His love. Then why would you even think to go back and get some more stains once again? Why, would you choose to look back and desire for your old life? In your old self? Why do you want to taste once again the life you already vommited out long time before when you accepted Christ? Would that taste better? Or even the same? No right? Have you ever taste your vommit when you are sick? You can not even think about it i guess. That would be how it will feel! Surely! Once we became new with Christ everything from the past will be like all spoiled food, it stinks and poisonous. You will sure identify the difference once you already tasted the goodness of our Lord. Stay in the light! Focus on Jesus! He died in the cross and sacrified himself and get himself brutally bruised just for you and me to get brand new! Be thankful and never looked back! Stay brand new everyday for Jesus! Help others to be clean and one day all things wil be made new in Jesus Name! 2 Corinthians 5:17New King James Version (NKJV)17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. I am certainly not perfect. Far far from being one. I have my own weaknesses and flaws being human but I am definitely sure that when God said that: "He loves the world that much to send His only begotten Son, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have everlasting life"(John 3:16) i am sure He is thinking of me and you. My God loves me so much that He is willing to die for my own sin and i am truly sorry Lord if i have offended you many times and I am more than thankful for you have shown mercy everytime I fall and chose to forgive me. 😊😊😊 #LoveofGod #wordofGod #Devotion #timetoponder True beauty just comes out naturally from someone who is beautiful from inside. People will notice and ask about that radiance from you that actually comes from within. Within us is Jesus: who is perfect and love. If He is truly within us, the Jesus within us will naturally comes out from us and people will surely see it. Same goes with Joy. You don't need to show to people that you are ok when you are not they will still sense and feel it. You don't need to pretend you are happy when you are not. Genuine happiness comes from within. Most of the time when I am emotionally challenged with my own personal struggles or the people around me or the issues I am dealing with I am always left questioning, because I always wonder how I can still feel ligjt and joyful after and in the midst of it. That Joy is from God that comes out naturally from within when we abide in Him no matter what circumstances that we are. I heard one preaching said: "The true meaning of Joy is far different from Happiness. Joy is seeing the circumstances around you but you are confident and secured that God is fully in control." 😊😊😊 Trust God with all your heart you will eventually find that unexplanable joy in the midst of the storm. Philippians 4:4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. |
