Covenant is more than a promise. It is a divine agreement and contract between Us and God. He is a covenant mindful and keeper God. 😊🙏🏻 let's put into our hearts that whatever we commit for God and whatever He promises back to us as an agreement it will surely come to pass. Today I want us to be reminded of how great He is from all generations. He made a covenant with men and none of those failed. If today you want to dedicate your life to God make a covenant. In that way when things gets tough, when the road seems so tight and bumpy and everything are like breaking apart and you can't see victory at the end, when you are so weak and weary, when that day comes you will go back on that day you made a covenant with God. Not with yourself, not with other people, not with your mentor or church leader but covenant with God. Just the two of you. Gen. 9:8-17 Gen. 15:8-21 Exodus 24:3-8 2 samuel 7:4-29 Jeremiah 31:31-34 Heb. 8:6-13 #wordofGod #devotion #christianlife #covenant Today is IM PRAYING FOR YOU DAY! Do you pray for others always? Or it's always ME, Myself And I? I mean pray sincerely for our brothers and sisters and even our enemies! Jesus is praying for Us! John 17:9-26 9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me,[a] that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world,[b] I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept;[c] and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[d] believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” The Matter of the Heart Matters. Jeremiah 17:9 said our heart is deceitful and wicked. But we all know also that it is the very core of our being and if we don't let the Holy Spirit control it we might end up being led by our own heart. Be careful with the line, "JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART." You might be following a road to destruction. #wordofGod #warning #notetoself #wickedheart #devotion #Godsreminder #Godmoves #Godslove #Godspromise #allforJesus #guardyourheart #christianlife While I was reading my bible early this morning I was left thinking and contemplating by the very Word of God! I can never forget when God said the world will love its own. It really made me thinking. God I pray that I will never long for this world to Love me, i'd rather receive hatred of this world than to lose my purpose for your kingdom. I would rather seek your love rather than the love of the people of this world. May I always please you and not men. Help me not to BE THE VERY KIND OF THIS WORLD. In Jesus Name! Amen!John 15:18-27New King James Version (NKJV)The World’s Hatred18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’[a] The Coming Rejection26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning. Galatians 1:6-7 Nkjv 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. Will it be a great dishonour to God to turn away from our calling so quickly just because of so many listed reasons that we have. Is there a far more long list of reasons why God should not call us but He still did? He called us by grace. I will never forget what Pastor Benny Ho said last night. This is one principle I always live by and want to continue living by, "Don't you ever dishonour God just to honour people!" We are created to be worshippers and pleasers of God and not of men. Life is not about the number of your friends and fans, but the quality of followers of Christ turned because of your life. We are not here to collect friends but to be made worthy of God by doing what is pleasing to His sight. Will it also not a disgrace to God to quickly turn away from God just because we are hurt, offended or displeased by someone else? Isn't it God the one who called you? Isn't it God the one who made you qualified by grace? Should it be God the one we are supposed to be serving? Should it be God the only one we should look at. When ever you are disheartened look at the cross! Jesus was mocked, bruised and killed just because of us. He did not look at himself and the suffering but He looked upon us. He fixed his eyes on getting us save. The Matter of the Heart Matters! Don't just respond on the call, keep it, sustain it, protect it, grow from it THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHEN US! #grace #forgiveness #thecross #Godslove #calling #passion #honour #christianlife #walkwithGod #followerofChrist #love #blessed #favoured #saved #allforJesus #allglorytoGod #iamachildofGod John 15:1-8 (NKJV) The True Vine 15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. God prunes so we can grow beautifully and the less we get the more we bear fruits. I always wonder during school days when the care takers prunes and cuts our yellowtops plants in the school while actually it still look good and just went high. Then they will cut it in one level and amazingly it will grow back with much brighter colors. In verse 2 Jesus said that anything that don't bear fruits will be taken away. In our mind we might think, yeah! They just deserve it. But going on we will read the part when Jesus said that those who bear fruits He will prune. Then we might say, God! We are bearing fruit how come you still put a knife or pruning tools to chop us off. I can be painful you know? Why do You need to take and cut? Is that what I get from bearing fruit? Well them that is exactly what God wants to do, he wants to shape us in the best shape that we can get and while bearing fruits due time there can also be some unwanted grass and unhealthy elements that grow alongside with us. He needs to take it off so we can continue to grow beautifully. Do you have some stuff in your life that needs to be chop off for you to bear fruit and grow? Some vices that needed to quit, bad habit that needs to turn away from, immoral or unwholesome relationship, unhealthy lifestyle? Whichever it is God will sure prune you until you thing you have less or even left with nothing at all but God, then you will realize while you have less there is more opportunity and space to bear more. 😊😊😊 There is power in our Words. We proclaim what we believe and today I am declaring awesome things to come in your life. Isn't it exciting to start your day believing in the awesomeness of our God. I believe i will be witnessing it Later in the breakfast With Love for the elders. I encourage you friends to always find ways to see Gods mercy, power and strength. Find people, places and events that will reveal to you Gods awesomeness. Be zelous on this one and your will witness great things to Come! God You Are Awesome! Psalm 68:35 New International Version "You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!" John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Have you tried walking in the streets alone at night when it's very dark? Even the bravest man will still feel some fear or discomfort walking an alley alone with no light. Well if you ask me, yes! Surely i will be worried and be fearful in some ways. Imagine your whole life, as in your whole existence is in that dark place. I don't mean just one part of your life but your whole life. How is it? Did you feel good about it after imagining? Well then, that is your life when you don't have God. He is the only light you can have to brighten your life. Jesus is the light of life. If you don't have Him you are completely in trouble and if you actually know Him and even once or many times decided to follow Him and make Him your Lord but you still walk in darkness or worst prefer to walk in dark life i guess you are in a terrible mess! Light and darkness is completely the opposite. If there is light darkness will be gone so if you THINK YOU ALREADY HAVE JESUS but you STILL WALK IN DARKNESS. Examine yourself back. You might actually don't have Him at all. Having Him as your light is not you trying hard to bring that light out from you if you really have Jesus, the LIGHT will come out naturally. So, which side are you? Think About it! Very hard! Matthew 5:14-15New King James Version (NKJV)14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Jesus commanded that we should be the light of the world. A light that shines so bright in the midst of darkness. A shining light even a small portion of it will always be visible in the human eye. Have you imagine a place so dark and you light up a lighter lets say with a very minimal portion of light on it, what do you think will happen to the place? Even the dark surroundings is still with much higher percentage than that light, your eyes will still be drawn to that light. Light always prevails. But that lighter will never come up with flame without its liquified gas inside. Same goes with every lamp stands in every streets and parks and houses, it will never ever going to produce a light without a bulb inside and a source of power. That is the same scenario for us people. How can you be that light of this world without a source of power? Before we can even lit up a little bit of light there must be something within us that enable that light, or let's say there should be Someone. Jesus is the light. It is written that Jesus is the Word that gives life and light in this world so darkness can never comprehend. (John 1:3-5) In that case, if we have Jesus in our life, if we have him within us no matter what, He will surely going to shine bright out from us. We will serve us His torch guiding the lost to the right way and eventually know Him. Would you like to serve as a lampstand? A torch for Jesus? You don't need to do that much but to accept Jesus within you, all power comes from Him. Just be willing to be that instrument of light and let Jesus, "the real source" light up from you so many can be save.
This is exactly what will happen to us if we missed out dating God in daily basis, if we don't pray and worship God in every day of our lives. It doesn't mean we are doing Works for God we are meeting God daily. Sometimes, actually often times when we are busy doing things for God we forget our God. Ate Rizza from the kids once shared this to me: "when we do works for the kingdom of God we should not forget the King." Nothing is wrong with sticking your tongue and working hard for your ministries. But if you got so tangled up with that but you have not met God personally and did not even talk to him in a daily manner you are no difference with those who doesn't do any work at all and don't talk to God. Find that balance and never ever neglect to be in the presence of the Lord. Luke 10:38-42New King James Version (NKJV)Mary and Martha Worship and Serve38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’[a] feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41 And Jesus[b] answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Have a blessed week ahead..😊😊😊 #prayer #challenge #christianlife #timetoponder I was browsing from my camera gallery while in the bus looking for inspirational images i previously downloaded and I came across of this photo I am sharing with you guys. I stared for quite some time and read it. I was thinking when did I download it? Or maybe someone else forward it to me. Then of course like many times. God spoke to me in many different ways. I went to my bible and read John 12. John 12:20-24 20 Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. 21Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." 22 Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.23 But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. In verse 21 those greeks seek of Jesus. They went there specifically to meet Jesus. In your life do you really personally seek Jesus? Do you only seek Jesus in times of despair? In times of struggles and difficulties? Do you seek Jesus in a daily manner? We only started learning something when we have that desire to actually know and learn. There will be no growth in our part if we don't desire for it. May we have the same desire same as those people to SEEK JESUS always in our life. Jesus eventually said to His disciples that: "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified."(v23) "unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."(v24) Take time to seek God and glorify Him in all aspect of your life. Can you totally say that now is the time Jesus will take over your heart and mind and soul? Your whole life? That you will grorify Him? Remember He is the one who first seek us. Out of Love He is that grain of wheat who humble himself to the ground and die for our own sake, for our sins. Through His death many more were saved and bear fruit our of His obedience to the Father and there will be more. How about you? What are you willing to do for your fellow brothers and sisters? To God? How do you define worship?Jesus said in the samaritan woman in the book of John when she asked where is the right place to worship: that we should "WORSHIP IN SPIRIT And IN TRUTH."John 4:19-24New King James Version (NKJV)19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” What do you mean by Spirit? It doesn't actually means to worship in tongues and language of heaven but truly worship from within. When you worship with all your heart from the Spirit that lives within you that is worshipping in spirit and in truth. Worship because you want to glorify and honor God. Worship because you Love God. Worship because you know that He deserve all of you. Friends, you can actually sing, sing very well but don't worship. You can give all your offerings and tithes without worship. You can sacrifice and serve without worship if your heart don't goes with it. It is true. We can just do those stuff for the sake of doing it but doesn't really mean it from our hearts. I want to quote this from Lamar Boschman: "When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words, than my words be without heart." Let us give God the true worship He deserves. That is what He ask of us. Now ask yourself, are you really worshipping God in whatever you do; in where ever you are? Are you singing or worshipping? Because those two are totally different. Choose to Worship our Lord in Spirit and in Truth, be a true worshiper of our Jesus Christ. Do it with Pure Love. |
