I was browsing from my camera gallery while in the bus looking for inspirational images i previously downloaded and I came across of this photo I am sharing with you guys. I stared for quite some time and read it. I was thinking when did I download it? Or maybe someone else forward it to me. Then of course like many times. God spoke to me in many different ways. I went to my bible and read John 12. John 12:20-24 20 Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. 21Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." 22 Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.23 But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. In verse 21 those greeks seek of Jesus. They went there specifically to meet Jesus. In your life do you really personally seek Jesus? Do you only seek Jesus in times of despair? In times of struggles and difficulties? Do you seek Jesus in a daily manner? We only started learning something when we have that desire to actually know and learn. There will be no growth in our part if we don't desire for it. May we have the same desire same as those people to SEEK JESUS always in our life. Jesus eventually said to His disciples that: "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified."(v23) "unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."(v24) Take time to seek God and glorify Him in all aspect of your life. Can you totally say that now is the time Jesus will take over your heart and mind and soul? Your whole life? That you will grorify Him? Remember He is the one who first seek us. Out of Love He is that grain of wheat who humble himself to the ground and die for our own sake, for our sins. Through His death many more were saved and bear fruit our of His obedience to the Father and there will be more. How about you? What are you willing to do for your fellow brothers and sisters? To God? |
