God led me in Psalm 24 this morning...
These are the few verses: 1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; 2 for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. 3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.[a] 5 They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.[b][c] Everything here on earth belongs to Him Alone. He created it all, that includes our lives. It is in His hand to decide what will happened next. This past few days I am in between in prayers and I only want to pray what God really wants to do. Yesterday I felt challenged in Malachi 3:14 and this morning i wrote in my Journal, God You have the power and You are also the only one that can Change Your decision. But I can plead, I can ask for Your grace like what Moses did for Israel, David to spare Israel from the wrath Of You, Amos in behalf of Israel again and Jesus himself did pray to the Father for mercy. I was like, God are you not directly telling me what You really want to do because You want me to seek deeply by Faith what You want to do? This is for everything. This is for all that I have been praying for this past few days.. and truly God knows.... WE JUST NEED TO BELIEVE TO OUR GOD. HE COMPLETELY KNOWS...and our prayers are very important. 2 Samuel 21:15-22
15 When the Philistines were at war again with Israel, David and his servants with him went down and fought against the Philistines; and David grew faint. 16 Then Ishbi-Benob, who was one of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose bronze spear was three hundred shekels, who was bearing a new sword, thought he could kill David. 17 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah came to his aid, and struck the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, “You shall go out no more with us to battle, lest you quench the lamp of Israel.” 18 Now it happened afterward that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob. Then Sibbechai the Hushathite killed Saph,[c] who was one of the sons of the giant. 19 Again there was war at Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-Oregim[d] the Bethlehemite killed the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam. 20 Yet again there was war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in number; and he also was born to the giant. 21 So when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea,[e]David’s brother, killed him. 22 These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants. This story of Israel in the reign of David of defeating the 4 GIANTS of Philistine is a great reminder of everyone of us. If you will see in the first round of war it was mentioned tht David grew faint and his servant saved him. This is a perfect example of our lives today. We will face many giants in our life, the matters of the heart, finances, family issues, health and many more giants in life but in the end of chapter 21 all the 4 giants fell in the hands of David and his servants because God is with them. Today let's all remember that in facing our giants we are never alone. We have God in our side plus our brothers and sisters in Christ.😊 #love #victory #facingthegiants #BookofSamuel #bible #wordOfGod |
