Proverbs 16:9 (NKJV)
"A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." We can have all that fantastic plans for our life for sure. Who wants to plan something bad for his own life, but let us make sure first the condition of our heart. It always begins from there. We plan according to the desires of our heart. The result of whatever plans we may have can either turn out to be good or disastrous. Some people blame God when bad things happen while some people glorify themselves when achievements come because they thought it is out of their own doing. Today let's pray for our desires to be in line with the desires of the Lord for us, so we can plan with the same agenda He have for us and leave the rest in His hand. In all the plans that we have may it be in our personal life or in our different ministries I pray that we will always trust the direction and guidance of our Lord. Let's open our heart and soul to His voice. Jesus perfectly abide in the Father's plan of redemption and salvation. He could have turn His back and decided not to die for sinful man like you and me but He still went ahead and die for us because His heart's desire is the very desire of the Father, "to love and save each one of us". John 3:16 (NKJV)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." I guess everyone knows this verse. When we meet pre believers and new believers we will always encounter the question, "Is it really enough to just believe and I will be save?" As we grow older in our faith try to ask the question again. How did you really understand the word "believe"? Is it enough to just SAY we believe but did you truly believe that God will provide? Do you truly believe that God will forgive you? Do you really believe that God can change your situation? Do you really believe that God can fight the fight for you? Do you believe that you are a Christian? Do you really believe that God will save YOU? If we choose to believe we have to live it out. There was the story of two policemen that both believed that the bulletproof vest can save their life but only one of them wore it in the actual battle. Guess what? Only one of them managed to survived but both of them believed that the vest can save their lives. It is not enough to just believe. Many of us are like that we say we believe GOD and we believe His Word but we never actually apply it in our lives. Today I pray that we will truly live out the word of God in our lives, in good and tough times, His word will remain the same! Choose to believe! Live out the belief! In Jesus Name! Mark 1:35
"Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a SOLITARY PLACE; and there He prayed." Jesus always seek the Father before the day starts. He pray in the morning all by Himself to hear from the Father. He refuel His spiritual tank before He can pour out and minister to the people all day long. Today, I pray that we will always put God first in every aspect of our lives. I pray that we will never loss that passion to always talk to Him and seek Him in our busy days. Let's Find that secret place where in you and God alone can enter. Let'S Always guard our personal devotion and worship. God bless everyone. 😊 Happy sunday Worship Service. Mark 1:14-20
Preaching in Galilee and the Call of the Disciples 14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom[a] of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”16 And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” 18 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.19 When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. 20 And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him. Will you accept the "CALL" to be fishers of men? Remember you were once the fish. Would you take this great opportunity to do the same thing for the rest who have not yet known Jesus? Take that net! Make it strong by consistently and constantly drawing in the presence of the Lord and soaking in His words. Then, GO! Let's all together Cast out nets for the Kingdom of God! 😊😊😊 Will you say "YES" today? No turning back? Mark 1:1-3 (NKJV)
John the Baptist Prepares the Way 1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 2 As it is written in the Prophets:[a] “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.”[b] 3 “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’”[c] John the baptist was called to prepare the way before Jesus starts His ministry few thousands years back. Don't you know that you have the same call today? We are all here who knew and received the blood of Jesus to prepare the way before He comes back! We are all still here as part of the preparation plan. Prepare those who still don't know Jesus and warn everyone of the tribulation to come and remind everyone of the GREAT GREAT LOVE OF GOD. So, what have you been doing? Are you embracing your John the baptist call? Or you live your life for your own desires? I pray that today you will choose. 😊 Good morning. 😊😊😊 So My plan was to read ezekiel for a starter of this year but God led me to studying the Gospel of Mark.
Amazing how the Gospel of Mark being the shortest of the 4 gospels contains the most miracles of Jesus. The Gospel of MArk is the busiest Gospel of All. In His Gospel he presented Jesus as a Servant and a Saviour that's why the pastor said if in any case you forgot everything about the whole gospel please remember Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” It was more fascinating to know about Mark. He was just like us who happened to be a failure in his own version. He abandoned Jesus when the tough call was made for the 70disciples. He was one of them. He abandoned Paul in the first missionary journey in the book of acts. But what's encouraging about his life is he might have done "SAME STUPID MISTAKES TWICE" he bounce back greater and finished the race. Mark the Gospel writer who have journeyed with Peter and shared most of the Sermons was convicted and driven by the Holy Spirit to wrote the Gospel was just as human as we are. He has been rejected by Paul on the 2nd missionary journey because of the mistake he has done with them on the first trip but Barnabas took him and He was accepted again and he did it. He finished the race and he made Paul change his mind about him. It was an encouragement for me to be able to start this study in the life of the writer of the Gospel of Mark and the beginning of the Gospel. (On a lighter Note the joke of the pastor in the beginning was the one that really made my day!) He said, "if you are studying the word of God you will have those nuggets of knowledge that you will only have and thank God for that!" Like for example IF YOU STUDY THE WORD OF GOD YOU WILL KNOW THAT MEN WILL BE RAPTURED 30MINS AHEAD BEFORE WOMEN!" 😂😂😂 The reference was written in Revelations 8:1, "When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." I laughed so hard I knew where it is heading I paused the video and really had a good laugh! The pastor went on reading the verse and said there was silence in heaven for about half an hour! NO WAY THERE's A WOMAN IN THERE! 😂😂😂 #wordofGod #devotion #GospelofMark Have you ever wondered why, when you turn over your life to God,you don't just get express freight right to heaven? Or, to put it a little more crassly, if you're so heaven bound, then why are you still sucking air down here? - Bill Hybels
"Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (It was a very nice reminder of why we are still here. 😊 We have our purpose! Don't waste that opportunity to have one!) #holydiscontent #reading #booklover #wisdom #oneGod #oneLife #onePurpose #allforJesus #heaven #christianlife #followerofChrist Matthew 16:13-20 (NKJV)
Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ 13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” 14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[a] in heaven.” 20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. Who is Jesus for you? How does your life speaks about who Jesus is? 😊 I hope that it's a life with a big sign "JESUS IS ALL I NEED. He is My Lord And Saviour, my Redeemer and my Provider! He Loves me very much and I want to love you and you and you as well!" Life is short make it a worth living life! 😊😊😊 (So blessed when I was reading this passage and I actually stepped in Caesarea Philippi.)😊 Nothing beats a good conversation with the Lord early in the Morning! Thank You! 😊😊😊 Great is Your Faithfulness Lord!
I'm just so glad that your love, peace, joy and mercy is new EVERY MORNING; That from the time I wakes up I know that my past worries, failures and mistakes are all washed by Your blood alone Jesus! Our Yesterdays can be tough and rough but TODAY God is renewing us to prepare us in our Tomorrow. Lamentations 3:21-26 (NKJV) 21 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. 22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” 25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. 26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord. #Godspromise #Godslove #Godsplan #Godstime #Godsway #faithfulness #love #christianlife #mercy #peace #joy #wordofGod #christianlife #thankful #childofGod #reminder #notetoself #happy |
