Ok. Todays' Bible Reading is a bit tragic from the death of Joram, Ahaziah and Jezebel in 2 Kings 9-10. But with all the bloody things that have happened which Prophet Elijah already said to Ahab (king of Israel, husband of Jezebel) one thing that captured my heart today was the Question of Jehu,
Now when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab, coming to meet him; and he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?” And Jehonadab answered, “It is.” Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot. - 2 Kings 10:15 If God will ask you now of the same question Jehu asked, "IS YOUR HEART RIGHT?" What's gonna be your answer? Will it be "Yes, It is." Like the answer given by Jehonadab or will it be a silence? The question is not just Is your heart right? The full question is, "Is your heart right, AS MY HEART TOWARDS YOUR HEART?" #FathersHeart #MakemyheartBeatsLikeYoursGod #BreakMyHeartToWhatbreaksYours #MakeMyHeartLikeYours #RenewMyHeartEveryday #GodsLove #grace #gratefulHeart |
