The blessings from the Lord is actually out open for everyone its just that sometimes we chose to be somewhere we can't see it. Covered by our grief we have in our hearts, our emotions, our pride and ego, and the shadows of our past. Soren Kierkegaard told a parable of a rich man riding in a lighted carriage driven by a peasant who sat behind a horse in the cold and dark outside. Precisely because he sat near the artificial light inside, the rich man missed the panorama of stars outside, a view gloriously manifest to the peasant. If you will think of it the sky is wide open for everyone to appreciate the beauty of the night with those sparkling constellations; but the rich man missed it because he chose to be somewhere he can't even appreciated the view outside. In life we sometimes tend to do the same. Remember! God promised to prosper us. In jeremiah 29:11 "For I know what I have planned for you,' says the Lord. 'I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope." Just know where you stand at the moment. Are you depending on Gods promises to your life and see things according to Gods standard of life? Or are you hiding behind the shadows of your own mistakes, past and pride? Go out! Look up! He is more than willing to bless you. You just need to move and seek of it. #readingtherumoursofanotherworld #Reflections #prayertime |
