When we grow older in our ministry we will begin to grow in maturity in our faith. I discover that the best way to help yourself to be more like Christ is always position yourself thinking ahead that when we carry the "Christian" bloodline in our vein and carry around a signboard about it people will never see us the same. They will never look who Peter or Paul is but definitely everything we do and say will reflect back to our Saviour. If we follow Christ by faith we will believe that He can change us in all aspect when we fully surrender. They say, when we try to follow someone we often have that tendency to be almost the same person we follow. Look at elijah and elisha. So, if we FOLLOW CHRIST i believe it will be the same thing.
If you will read the whole chapter 1 of The book of Hebrew (Hebrew 11:1-40) you will see many names of those who have been faithful in their lives until the very end. Nobody on those names was perfect. They all fall short. They all did all kinds of sin but what made them get in the list of the "HONOR ROLL OF THE FAITHFUL"? That is their faith that no matter how many times they fail and fall their hearts always longed to go back in the very heart of God. They always go back to the heart of worship. That faith that they will be forgiven. For us who are living now in the new covenant, it is for us to walk closely to Jesus no matter what. I believe that when we get closer and closer to our Saviour that is the only way to really know His very Heart. Our Father knows us all. We all came from Him and I am sure He will definitely want to see us to be more of His likenes like how He first created mankind. Today, who are you presenting in the World? The real you in the flesh or the real you in Christ? We can all be real, but of which? Today i pray that all of us will be able to define our real identity in Christ. We need to die in our flesh to let that whole new us take over. Today, if at the end will still have that HONOR ROLL OF THE FAITHFUL, will you be there? Will people remember you as someone who live his/her life so close to the Father? Or people will remember a christian that says he/she is a son and daughter of the most High but never see that traits of the father in every words, every actions and every decisions that you have made? Who are you following today? The trendings in social media or the steps of Jesus written in bible? Really? Have you ponder about it? "We should live our lives not trying to protect our very own integrity because morals will fail in one point; but to always protect the integrity of CHRIST who live within us, who will never ever fail us." - Wilmie I remember those days when I studied the book of Ecclesiastes. I was so inlove, like so eager to go from one chapter to another. I remember during leaders camp i stayed in the balcony every morning finishing up where I left off. I love reading how the wisest man on earth dealt with all his frustarations, struggles, disappointments and failures. It was nice to learn from how He have witnessed life and shared how vanity it was. I picked up bit by bit of wisdom everytime I turned the pages and exactly during camp i heard one great learning about wisdom that I will never forget.
There are two ways we gain wisdom. 1. We get wisdom by our own experience. 2. We gain wisdom from others experience. I will never forget what Pastor Wayne Cordeiro of Hawaii shared about wisdom. " It is good to gain wisdom from our own experience that is why we say experience is the best teacher but is it better to learn from others so we can eacape from going through the same thing. It is like one person who runs in the ramp down fast and ends up hitting his nose in the wall broke his nose and said, ouch that is painful! And one watching that man do it and said oww, it is painful to hit your nose in the wall i will surely not gonna do that. It is not a rocket science to know that it is painful for us to try it on and test it. That is exactly why King Solomon wrote the book of ecclesistes. It was for us to learn from his own experience so we can escape from the same ending. After all the learnings that i have learned from there I begun to be more eager to buy books and read. I love reading other evangelists, pastors, missionaries, leaders and simple christians experiences and downfalls. I love learning from them. I love picking up those bits of wisdom I can add on. I love learning from the people around me whether below or above me. I love to witness life that way. It was an awesome experience to be a noticer. I love reading the bible not part by part or cherry picked verses but the whole story. Why such verse was said. Learning from the whole story will tell us why God punished or what made God make such decisions. All of those people in the bible are great lives we should all learn from. And i therefore conclude it was awesome to both experience gaining wisdom from my own experience specially if they are the good ones and gaining wisdom from other peoples lives so I can learn from them, take note, try to apply to my life, try my best to refrain the same path or prepare myself to the worst and learn from their success as well so i have a guide and direction to begin with. I pray the same cry of King Solomon. He was pleading us all to really embrace that nature of accountability to God and to the people we love to help us grow more in wisdom. How do you want to gain wisdom? I suggest read the whole book of ecclesiastes. John 3:16-17New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Today don't forget to be thankful in every detail of your life. You don't need to witness great miracles in your life to appreciate Gods' Love. Your life today is already a miracle. Being safe in your travel, you have something to eat for today and simply waking up is already a miracle from God. See the small things and when you put it together you will begin to see the great miracles of God through your life. His Love is equally given to all. He doesn't love you less or more or others less or more, it's just about how we see things and how small or big we see Gods love into our life. Perspectivey friends! How much do you see Gods love into your life? It's always our choice. Open your spiritual eyes! Open your heart! Have a blessed and full of Love weekend everyone. 😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 #FAVOURED #BLESSED #wordofGod #THANKFUL #christianlife #Love #oneGod #Saved #onelife #redeemed #onepurpose #called #spreadlove #lesshate #praymore #followerofChrist So I tried the 5:8 verses again and Today God asked me to go to the book of Isaiah so I typed in Isaiah 5:8 and i really had no clue what does it mean then that made me get my bible from the bag, God brought me to Isaiah chapter 5 and I was moved by the passage. I'ts really sad on the part of of Daddy God, our creator to look upon His creation whom He created with pure heart and intentions and expecting them to be good also and bear good fruits but afterwards became WILD FRUITS. If you will look upon the world today I believe God's heart is still breaking. Today I pray that as believers and followers of Christ we will always seek the best intentions to please our God Who loves us so much. I pray that it will always be our intention to love our neighbours and spread the love of Christ. We can never fix this world but we can always play our part. They always say that if you mixed a rotten fruit in the good ones everything will be rotten in due time. Why not believe the otherway around, wherein one Good fruit, one good christian that is mixed with all the bad ones can influence and make a difference. Be that one Christian who will stand firm on your faith despite of the chaos of this world. Believe Now! Act now! Choose now!
Isaiah 5:1-4(NKJV) God’s Disappointing Vineyard 5 Now let me sing to my Well-beloved A song of my Beloved regarding His vineyard: My Well-beloved has a vineyard On a very fruitful hill. 2 He dug it up and cleared out its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine. He built a tower in its midst, And also made a winepress in it; So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes. 3 “And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, Judge, please, between Me and My vineyard. 4 What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected itto bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes? You woudln't want to know what God say He will do because of the disobedience of this world but read through the next verses you will know, the verses serve as a warning to the whole humanity, good thing Jesus came to redeemed us. #followerofChrist #wordofGod #christianlife "You need to start thinking what God will say rather than thinking what other people will say."
This applies to all aspect of life, may it be in how you run your relationship, how you play your role at work, how you decide for your family or just simply living out a CHRISTIAN LIFE. Live a life of courage obeying God rather than pleasing people to get an approval and compromise the truth of biblical principles of life. Let's try to live not stepping on other peoples feet but be of good cheer and courage to live boldly for Gods glory. Acts 5:29 (NKJV) 29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. #Godstruth #truth #Godswill #obedience #boldness #scripture #wordofGod #christianlife #oneGod #onelife #onepurpose #evangelism #followerofChrist "Finder Keepers."
We are just humans who have personal desires and necessities. Some may be in abundance and some are in lack. But as Christians who are truly a believer and follower of Christ we should not worry if we have much or less or if we wake up the next day with everything or with nothing. All that matters is we are seeking and in the kingdom of God. God said SEEK first the kingdom of God and actually all those necessities and even desires of our heart that is in line with the character and will of God will be given unto us as well. Priority my friend! Motivation and conviction! What is your priority at the moment? I realize that the only things that we worry about everyday are the things we prioritize. Career! Relationships! Money! Family! All those are equality important for us to survive here on earth but those are not on an equal value with the kingdom of God. Today choose to seek Gods presence. Choose to build His kingdom where ever you go. Choose not to worry about anything but in prayer believe that God will always supply all our needs. Today Be A finder keepers! Seek the Kingdom and when you found it keep it deeply in your heart! 😊🙏🏻 have a blessed day everyone. #wordofGod #reflection #christianlife #followerofChrist #LIVINGLIFE #seeker #keeper #NotoWorrying #kingdomofGod #JesusistheKing #passion #calling #allforJesus #surrender This is why I always Love to sit in the upper deck of a double decker bus. It gives me peace to just plug in my earphones listen to worship songs and read or look out from the window. Watch people pass by, observe and be a noticer. In this peaceful moment you will have that moment with God, appreciation of life and contemplation of your present life towards your near future. Like Joshua in the sun stand still prayer, the sun being still up there was the sign of Gods covenant unto him that God is with him. Seeing that bright sun right now this morning reminds me of the amazing life that still awaits me; that today until my last breath God will be with me. I may not know exactly what God will do and twist in my life someday but as long as i walk in His will it's already good enough for me.
I may not understand everything but that is the trill of being just a human who is NOT all knowing following a God that is ALL knowing. My actions, decisions and ways may fail at times but that turning point, that failing moment is always an opportunity to get up and start new. Moment of failure is also our moment of learning and reminder that only Gods way prevails. Isaiah 55:8-9Niv 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. This is the concept i believe in and want to believe in until the end. There should be a formula in life that we need to follow. "GODS WILL-GODS WAY-GODS TIME" These three should be all together for you to be in the right path. Sometimes it can be Gods will but not yet Gods time, wait a little bit more,be patient & faithful. It could also be God's time but not God's will or it Could be Gods will in Gods timing but you are doing it and making it possible on your own way and not Gods way, everything will still collapse. Find that moment with God! Lord today i pray for your guidance and direction that i will always put those 3 formula in life in every decisions that i will make may it be personal or in ministry. Thank You Jesus! Amen! #wordofGod #christianlife #followerofChrist #devotion I remember during leadership training the speaker shared that for us to be a good leader faithfulness over what we currently have is important.
Surely in every journey there will be a variation of the amount of responsibility given depending on the length of experience or of any other reasons. Like when you first look for a job and you're a fresh grad, most likely you wont have the same treatment as those seniors; But be faithful on your small beginning because our beginning always determines our ends. Little by little we will grow from our starting point if we let God teach us along the way. When He sees us faithful over what He has given to us definitely He will pour out more and more afterwards. Lord today help us to obey on your words and the leading of the Holy spirit. You are an all knowing God. You sees the deepest contemplations of our hearts. Protect us Lord that we will not fall in the trap of the enemy. Guide us Lord and help us to be faithful of our vows, commitment and covenant with You. In Jesus Name! Amen! 😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Matthew 25:23New King James Version (NKJV) 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ #morningmetime #devotion #contemplating #leadership #faithfulness #obedience #holyspiritleading #follower #followerofChrist #smallbeginning #finishtherace #faithfuloffew #passion #calling #loveofservicefortheLord Most of us often complain of the little things in life. Bad mood. Having a not so good day at work. Has been scolded! Lost something! Relationship Issues! Taste a bad food! Traffic! We complain about almost everything! And the often excuse of such attitude is us being human. Being contended is necessary in life and appreciation of what we have is a good way to start. Everyday God actually blesses us of so much we are just to focus on negative things to see, we are just so distracted of our wants of something we don't have. We are so into the things we have lost. We magnify the things that have hurted us. Then every blessings that comes that day are all blurred, like a shady portion of our daily life or like a small dot of light in the dark. Wake up friends! There is so much in life we need to be thankful for. Everyday when you woke up in the morning is already a blessing from our God Almighty. The key of being contented is seeing the unnoticeable. Appreciate every little things. Have a bigger perspective of Life. Create a positive view of life and start seeing How wonderful, loving, caring and merciful our God is. Jesus did not suffer and die for us to repeat the same thing. He did that for us not to go through the same torment so STOP TORMENTING YOURSELF! Start living your life like How God want you! Open your eyes!
