I am certainly not perfect. Far far from being one. I have my own weaknesses and flaws being human but I am definitely sure that when God said that: "He loves the world that much to send His only begotten Son, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have everlasting life"(John 3:16) i am sure He is thinking of me and you. My God loves me so much that He is willing to die for my own sin and i am truly sorry Lord if i have offended you many times and I am more than thankful for you have shown mercy everytime I fall and chose to forgive me. 😊😊😊 #LoveofGod #wordofGod #Devotion #timetoponder How do you define worship?Jesus said in the samaritan woman in the book of John when she asked where is the right place to worship: that we should "WORSHIP IN SPIRIT And IN TRUTH."John 4:19-24New King James Version (NKJV)19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” What do you mean by Spirit? It doesn't actually means to worship in tongues and language of heaven but truly worship from within. When you worship with all your heart from the Spirit that lives within you that is worshipping in spirit and in truth. Worship because you want to glorify and honor God. Worship because you Love God. Worship because you know that He deserve all of you. Friends, you can actually sing, sing very well but don't worship. You can give all your offerings and tithes without worship. You can sacrifice and serve without worship if your heart don't goes with it. It is true. We can just do those stuff for the sake of doing it but doesn't really mean it from our hearts. I want to quote this from Lamar Boschman: "When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words, than my words be without heart." Let us give God the true worship He deserves. That is what He ask of us. Now ask yourself, are you really worshipping God in whatever you do; in where ever you are? Are you singing or worshipping? Because those two are totally different. Choose to Worship our Lord in Spirit and in Truth, be a true worshiper of our Jesus Christ. Do it with Pure Love. Jesus saw a multitude of sick and needy in the pool of Bethesda on the sabbath waiting to be healed and it is very interesting for Jesus to ask one sick man for 38 years to be healed. John 5:6-7New King James Version (NKJV) 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” 7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” That place is full of sick people waiting for angels to stir the water for them to be healed. A belief that also steal their attention and petition to God. Then Jesus seeing a hopeless man who don't even have anyone to help him be placed in the water, asked him: "Do you want to be made well?" If you will be that man would you be puzzled? Of course i want to be made well! That is exactly why I am here. But then, Jesus is asking because he needs to know if he really needs to be made well by God? The salvation has been offered to many but then did they really want to be saved? Healed by God? Many years of depression, unforgiveness and lifestyle of sins maybe bondage of 38 years or less or more but do we really want to get out from there? Be healed? Be forgiven? Be saved? It is the same question for those who already have Jesus, who already know Jesus but can not fully surrender everything to Him. If you are going through some tough struggles in your life and Jesus came to ask you: Do you want to be healed? Would you submit it to God? When we truly admit our weaknesses that is the only time Jesus will have the opportunity to fix us. When you inally realize that we cannot do anything to save our life, or Fix whatever is broken do come to Jesus, He is more than willing to fix you and to save you!!! Romans 5:6-8 Do you really want Jesus to fix your life? John 4:1-14
14 But whoever drinks some of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life." As I was listening in an online preaching this morning about one of my favorite passage in the bible: "the story about Jesus and the samaritan woman." This lines did capture my heart in a very personal manner. "When we risk of opening our hearts to people the more we risk for pain and sorrow. But also, the more we open our hearts the more it becomes like God." I don't know about you but I want to have a heart like His. 😊😊😊❤️💓 Philippians 2:1-5 1 Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort provided by love, any fellowship in the Spirit, any affection or mercy, 2 complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose. 3 Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself. 4 Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. 5 You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, I believe God hears ous prayer as we fast and pray for brothers and sisters in Christ. In this passage Paul said that we have to be concern more towards others than ourselves and not be motivated by selfish desires. As we all made this sacrifice out of love for our brothers and sisters i know and i am sure that what ever mountain that prevents the blessings of God to pour out it will be moved by the Grace of God and power of Prayer and Love. Proverbs 6:20-23
20 My son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. 21 Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck. 22 When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you. 23 For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life, Most often when we are growing up we most likely have a few or a lot of arguments and differences with our parents, but the blind side of growing up and wanting to experience the world and try to do our own is to forget that our parents once have been through that same era, that growing up times; and they know what tragedies we all can face along the ways if they don't warn and discipline us. That's why Solomon wrote in this passage to keep our fathers commandment and never forsake your mothers teaching. For they might not always know what's the best for us, but they surely have an idea what seems right and what we should be warned for. They've been there. They already saw and most likely they will never want to see the same thing happen to their children. There's a saying: "as I grow older my parents get smarter." True! For they are learning even more day by day to get us all where we should be in the future. If our earthly parents do this, how much more our Father in heaven. He, among all is the all knowing God. He already knew before youu even think about it and He can see far more than what we sees. That's basically why we have the bible to guide us by His word, in every decisions we need to make. He Loves us so much that He will never want us to take the wrong turns, He never wish for us to get hurt we are just so stubborn sometimes that we choose our own way and we don't always listen. Have you appreciated any disciplinary actions or punishments you've got from your parents? Maybe it's about time to realize that they just love you that's why they want to protect you from the harm that this world can bring. John 8:7King James Version (KJV)7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. In the Jewish culture if you fail to abide in the law you will surely be stone to death. I wonder if the jewish law will be implemented worldwide by this date how many people will still be living? Zero I guess. How thankful I am to be living in grace because none of us can ever escape from those many lists of commandments. In some point we did lie or should I say still lying, in some point we people became fornicators, drunkens, cheaters, thief, adulterers or what ever is listed in the commandments. Nobody is perfect but God so all of us will be guilty of those. We all deserved to be stone to death but God said we are loved and can be forgiven, if only we know. Many people though we are not experiencing the stoning to death physically nowadays we still experience it emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Many people cast stones intentionally or unknowingly to other people by words or by condemnation and I believe we can all be guilty of that. But as the recipient of the stones what should we do about it? Like what I have said earlier if we know God's grace we will know how to react. Everyone makes mistakes and the more we get critism, condemnation and stoning we should draw closer to God because the only comfort we can get in times of darkness and whenever we are lost is found in Jesus. It is very sad when most people in times of wilderness and failure instead of picking up those stone to build bridge towards God they build a high wall blocking everyone and even God. If we do that we are blocking the way for God to be able to help and saves us from the situation. Are you building wall from the stones thrown to you by people, separating you from the presence of God? Or are you building bridge so you can get closer to God? I hope you are making the right choice. Come closer to God. He loves you and is always wiling to forgive. We are all saved by grace. Ephesians 2:5New King James Version (NKJV)5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), |
