Can you guess what is he thinking? I remember how my professor in photography said, the most powerful subject is the eye of the subject. I took it last sunday after church during water baptism. He was not part of those getting baptize but he is one of the supporters or just one of the watchers maybe. I am not so sure but after taking his photo, I suddenly thought what is he thinking? I have been wanting to share this photo for a long time but besides the fact that I can't go online anytime I want and I actually don't want to be distracted by the online world as well, I guess God always pick up His own timing. This place that I have been for some weeks now is where I felt the heart of God closer, maybe because of so much brokenness and my heart breaks seeing this kid eyes. I asked God, what is he feeling right now Lord?
I remember, they said, "the eye is the window of our soul." I believe so. What do you think God sees from your life at the moment? What message do you think your eyes are conveying? Is it the joy and love from God? Is it a joy and love that comes from this world? Is it a love planted by God? Or a deceit planted by the enemy? Is it pain brought by the past, present and the fear of the future? Or is it that satisfying peace brought by the blood of Jesus in the cross? I don't know. We all have our different stories. But what I want my eyes to tell is the "love story of Jesus in my life." I want my eyes to tell the world how loving my saviour is, despite of the pain and disappointment this world can bring. I want only the Love of Jesus to be conveyed by these precious eyes God gave me. So what is your story? What is the story behind your eyes? Matthew 6:22-23 "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! #passion #calling #africa #pemba #photography #africatrip2016 #Africanboy #story #Lifetothefullest #eyes #waterbap #art #emotion #thestorybehindtheeyes #sundayentry #thankful #Godscreation #onelife #oneGod #WordofGod |
