Today I came to the end of the book of Romans and when Paul was letting the romans greet the fellow workers in Christ I was surprised that he mentioned few women servants of the Gospel at the beginning like Phoebe and Priscilla. It made me smile and say, "Wow, there are women serving the church who also stand out those times and Paul never hesitated to mentor them." In a way it was an eye opener to me and a refresher. All of us can serve God in the best capacity that we have the question is always ARE YOU WILLING MY FRIEND? And when we happened to say yes to the call many struggles, many temptations and stumbling blocks will come along the way because satan will never stop to hinder us from doing the work of God. Interestingly Paul mentioned in Romans 16:17, "Now I urge you brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them." In our walk with Christ many of us will also be tested and questioned and get confused but knowing the very word of God is the best armor and protecting yourself by the guidance of the Holy Spirit is the best way to deal with it. We are all in the flesh and all weak in the flesh, anyone of us can be used by the devil to turn against each other and the church. That's why Paul warned us in bringing divisions and encouraged us to stay away, that we may protect the Body of Christ. In my walk with God it's never a smooth path wherein we can get along with all people but amazingly The Holy Spirit will always have His way to let you discern what to do when you are caught in a situation of dispute. In this world nothing can be done perfectly but God will always act on behalf of us, Paul continue saying,
Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Today I pray as well to each one of us, whatever the devil tries to throw into our life to weaken us all of it will be crushed under your feet through the Power of our Father in Heaven! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is suficient enough to strengthen us! 😊🙏🏻 Good morning. |
