Someone once shared to me that we come with the annointing that we have. That our annointing is actually based on our calling. Did you ever try to do something our of your calling or the will of God to your life? Let me tell you a story. When Moses was chosen by God he is also not ready, felt not worthy and deserving but what makes the difference there is that he was chosen by the almighty God. He called him to do whatever is called to do for Israel but still despite of Gods promises and assurance he still think that someone else can do it.(ex. 4:10) the verses in chapter 4 shows that he asked God for someone else to deliver it but God insist of having him(moses) as his representative to the people but He gave Moses a support; Aaron. The duties and obligation of the two is very straight forward and laid down properly. God specifical appointed Moses to deliver Israel and Aaron will be Moses representative to the people. God said: He will only directly speak to Moses and Moses will relay it to Aaron and Aaron will relay it to the people. It's never about what we are capable of or not. Serving God is about fulfilling whatever He asked of us to do. Submission to the calling. If you are called to be an evangelist be it and don't be just whoever you think you are capable of. If God calls us whether for front stage or back stage what only matters is the state of the heart im obeying our God, whatever He asked for me to do weights the same with others fulfilling their calling. King David has a different annointing comes within Him from shammah though they are both serving God. Paul and timothy also have different annointing even Paul trained Him to be someone who will continue the Journey. Peter have different annointing with the rest of the apostles. All of them are serving God accordingly based on the annointing given to them and their calling. We all do works for the Lord, all for His glory, but at the end of the day its just a matter of what is God asking us to do because even we do things for the glory of God but apart from what He asked of us? Then, where is obedience there? Like what happened to Jonah. I have read in one part of live before you die book that we have different calling and Gods will in our life. Don't try to do something outside of your calling because you might enjoy in the beginning but it will exhaust you in the end. Many pastors started because they have been in a family of pastors but don't have calling for it but still push to be and ends with misery. It is a matter of knowing where God calls you and where you are now. Where we are in the present might be a vital part for us to be prepared to where we are heading. Stay in the call and be an encouragement for others to know what is their calling. Respect the calling of each other because it weights the same in the Lord. Remember we are all equal in the love of God, but God calls, God chose and God appoints. Someone once shared to me that we come with the annointing that we have.
