Tonight we went out for street evangelism with the other life groups in the church in orchard area. After 9pm we already had our closing prayer so me and micah went for a walk for prayer first and happened to meet 4 Filipina girls who are very accommodating so in short was an extended street evangelism then after a few minutes of talk with them we continue our walk and sit in the fountain in front of Ngee Ann to pray first for whatever prayer concerns in the Job seeking Fina have. Then after praying ang taking some rest we finally decided to go home and walk towards orchard mrt then we happened to bump to one Indian Teenager selling keychains. Her name is Harvini. She was so tired and she started telling her family story. She was only 18years old and got two more siblings whom she's trying to raise on her own. Her Mom died from giving birth on their youngest sister whom by the way just 6months by now. She got one more brother who is 16 years old and they are struggling because her dad is in prison. The government is supporting them and she is working for the company that supports low income families. After hearing her we gave our food we have from KFC then from the keychains she was selling there was one, only one that is in pair. It is a whistle keychain and the moment i laid my eyes on it I knew that is the one we will buy so me and fina will have one each to remind us of that moment. Then we told her that we will get the keychain but we asked her to move on the corner of the street first so we can pray for her. We blessed and her pray for her so she could finally open her to see Gods love in her life. We prayed for the 10$ to multiple in a supernatural way to sustain their family in a longer time though it may seems to be not much in the time being. After we prayed for her i saw a difference in her face. We gave to her our life group invite card so she can contact us anytime she might need help. We left super blessed. It was an amazing night tonight. We are more blessed meeting people in the streets that needs prayer and needs to hear the love of God. Just like the aunty selling tissue near somerset that we prayed for when we started the street evangelism. Thank You Lord for the opportunity to bless your people. Tonight was not just an ordinary street evangelism that we normally fo for the anniversary harvest for Filipinos but an opportunity to reach and touch more people beyond culture and language. Would you like to be a blessing upon others? Don't hesitate to act upon it. Everyone can be a blessing..😊😊😊 Be more like Christ. 😊😊😊 (Fina and Me testimony for tonights street evangelism and prayer walk.) |
