"People will not care of what you know until they know what you care." I just read this statement in the book i am currently reading while on my way to meet some girls from the church. This statement was given by the author of the book treasure hunt to demonstrate that the best way to get people love to go to church is an act of service. The moment i read it, it really strike me because i strongly believe in this concept. Most often i get to give the most respect i will give to a person whom i can see how passionate they can be in serving God and fulfilling their purpose. I get to admire and be inspired of people whom I can see how much they want to honour God by honouring their calling. I want to see what they care about before i can even say anything about them. In my leadership i always make it a point to show them what is my passion and calling and try my best to show them theirs. We all have different purpose but same calling, to be a follower of Christ and proclaim the good news. What do you care about? Is it your physical appearance? Your career? Lovelife? Whatever it is one thing is for sure people will know eventually. People will see what you really care about in this lifetime. I pray that you are magnifying and reflecting the right thing. I hope and pray that you are showing the people around you that you care for their souls so they can follow the same example and they will do the same thing. 😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 God bless everyone.. |
