Hi there! Ready for the next page of me bringing you all the way back to my trip in Africa? Well, ready or not, here we go! So what’s next? I thought of uploading some random photos of my daily journey in Pemba Since it’s over two months of stay over there It will be difficult for me to share with you a detailed story of how my life goes by back there and my memory might not be that reliable anymore by now. So I decided to write about some unforgettable experiences that I had when I was in Pemba. Experiences that may not be that encouraging at all, funny, embarrassing and of course those inspirational and life changing one. In short, it is a mix of both good and bad experiences? But I believe you will learn a lesson from both. So are you ready to have a glimpse of my daily life in Pemba? Well then, let’s begin!
Basically, we all need to learn not just the Theology but to do simple things to survive and stay alive while on a mission trip. We need to learn how to work and partner with different sets of people whom you will not always agree with. Not everyday is a bed of roses. You get frustrated sometimes and disappointed, not with the same page with everyone, be on an argument and just be human. Things can get too much at times but over all I had the best time in Pemba!I hope you get some enlightenment from the stories I have shared. I experienced all of that for a couple of months but the locals of Pemba they suffered with all of those their entire life. You may be in lack right now but some have not even tasted the life that you have. You lost your phone or something valuable some may not even know that gadget exists. You keep on wasting water? Some may need that badly. I know life can be hard sometimes but do your best to always appreciate whatever you have. Live a life of contentment. God bless you!
Ok. Let's stop here for now and let’s save the FOOD stories next time! Thank you for reading! Until next time! God Bless you! |
