I have fought a good fight! I have finish the race! Sundown 2015 is my 1st official run of this year and my 1st official run after my 2nd operation. Hahah.. One thing i learned from this run is setting a goal! To my first ever comeback in the race this is my first time ever to run as far as 8km without stopping and walking. Before the race started i told myself i will never stop before 3km and i will make sure i will make it until 5km withouth stopping and resting and my Goal God is 7km please help me make it. I thought i will never make it since i got sick pretty bad last thursday but PRAISE GOD!!! I did it more than 7km I stopped only before hydration area which is few steps from 8km. I rest that time. In every race we don't need to rush things. Take it slowly but surely. Set a goal and focus on that goal. And every time you feel weak go back on your goal you will surely make it through. When I make it to my 5km I thank Go I made it and said few more to my 7km. When I saw my 6km I said, one more God! When I finally saw my 7km I looked up and smile and said few more, just some more until I saw the bridge and the hydration area and I made it through. That is exactly how i also feel in my race for God. Ever since I finally gave my whole life to Him I just go back to my covenant unto Him when ever i feel weak or tested. I always remind what is my reason for running this race. What is my Goal. 😊 I want to make sure I will have the same passion and strength until the very end. My last 500m was amazing! I run as fast as I can to the best that I can! No stop until i step in the finish line! Glory to God! I made it!!!! RECORD BREAKING! Next time 10km straight no stop before I go to my half marathon! |
