Do you remember How troubled the disciples were after Jesus Death? They are all in fear and scattered. They don't have peace at all and after Jesus resurrected what did He cast on them? John 20:19-21 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. I believe it is the same as today's setting, without God in our lives surely there will be no peace. Without God in every decisions that we will make i am definitely sure it will be restless and wreckless. There will be no peace I tell you. Have you made any decisions in your life which it turned out that you actually enjoying the moment but you don't have peace within you. Like there is something wrong with your decision but anyways you chose to keep going just because it gives you temporary satisfaction or you listened to the devil lies telling you that you have no other choice. I believe we all share a portion of that experience. Many times as human as I am i share the same sentiments. There was some times in my life that let's say I chose a road thinking that it's ok as long as it's the will of God. I heard it and that is clear. But friends we should not be confused, true, at times it is really God's will but why there is no peace? That is because we might be doing it NOT IN GOD's WAY or God's time. Those three should all be in the formula other wise it will still fail and you will still end up without peace in your decisions. There are many ways you can identify if your decision is from God. The number one of all is if you have PEACE with that decision. Are you hurting anyone because of that decision? Is it align with God's character. Many times based from my experience i will really feel the peace from my decision if it is from God. Struggles and testings may come but there's this unexplanable joy and peace that only you and God can understand. I guess many of you can relate in one experience I had when your personal and your ministry does not actually blend. Where in you are fully surrendered in God's guidance to make your ministry work but it's very hard to surrender your personal life. If those two don't work together well then you will be in a big trouble one day and worst, you will end up choosing. When i finally surrender my personal and ministry life, basically the totality and let God bring me where He wants me to bring that's the time i felt that perfect peace. When you see the world around you so messed up but you have that inner peace that no matter what is happening around you, there is a strong confidence within you that God is in control. Are you at peace right now? Are you excluding Jesus in your decisions? Well then my friend I want you to feel that perfect peace. It's about time to seek that Peace from Jesus. 😊 |
