"When you ask God to do the impossible, He usually instructs you to do something uncomfortable and inconvenient."
"And before God can do an impossible work in your world you need to let Him do a deep work in your heart." "It's tempting to want to skip right to the sun-stopping , river-crossing stuff - the increased influence, answered prayers and electrifying experiences of God's presence. But that stuff won't be genuine and certainly can't be sustained if it isn't cultivated out of a heart that has been formed by the Spirit of God." (All from Sun Stand Still Book) These three statements were from different pages I have read in two different days but i specifically highlighted and took it out to form one flow that I felt speaks so loud. Most of us wants to see the greatness of the Spirit of God and a revival to sprout out from somewhere, but again, I remember back in Pemba Mozambique it was in one class I forgot who said it but I remember it was taught, "Miracles are not meant for the entertainment of the believers but for the CONVICTION of the Pre-Believers." In many setting of Miracles someone from the crowd of witnesses will surely be drawn to God the Miracles worker! The great Healer!!! His Name is Jesus! 3000 was saved out of one Miracle outside the temple back in Peters' days. But before all these impossibilities can happen right in front of our eyes a "Circumcision of the Heart" is very important. The right mindset, motives and intentions are very important in all we do. Let our prayers be before getting to anything in our ministry, "Jesus strip us off with anything that we don't need to fulfill your calling to our lives! Lord take away every excess that we have from down deep in our souls that is not necessary for our growth in our Spiritual walk. Father, turn our heartbeats like yours. Let no ego or pride hinder us from doing what You have asked us to do. Let no pain or hurt or brokenness steals us away from our destiny. Let humility flows naturally from our veins that no platforms can take us away from Your presence and intimacy. May You be our First and last priority that no business of ministry can take us away from You Lord. Let our hearts be in the palm of Your hands today and for the rest of our days. In Jesus Name! Amen! Romans 2:28-29 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. |
