In leadership and life in general, you need to know three things; at least based from my experience. This is what my principle as I grow in my serving and ministry in God's Kingdom, for God's kingdom and with God. 1.KNOW YOURSELF! You need to know who you are. What are your capabilities? You need to ask yourself: What is my strength? What is my weaknesses? You need to know those areas of your life so you can assess yourself to what extent you can stretch, what can you teach, which area you need help from others, what i can not really do or what else I can learn and improve. Know your identity in Christ for you to withstand the challenges and battle. Knowing your place in Heaven and your stand in the most Holy God is very important for you to be able to present yourself to people and reflect God through you. 2. KNOW YOU FRIENDS/PEOPLE UNDER YOUR CARE! You need to know the people around you in all aspect. In totality! You will never be able to teach them, improve them or challenge them if you don't know exactly what is their weaknesses and strengths. You need to know which area of their life they are good at and develop them from there. Which areas they need to work out some more and disciple themselves. When is the best time to challenge them also boils down on how deep you know the people around you. You will never be able to help them, uplift them and rebuke them if needed if you never went truly personal with them. Go love the people like Jesus did, and that is the only time you r heart will be in one dance with theirs. 3.KNOW YOUR ENEMY! If you know yourself and the people you will know for sure where and when the enemy will attack. What areas of your life will be magnified in its eyes. That enemy will always be on the look on those areas where we are all vulnerable. If you know yourself and the enemy you will more likely be much prepared in case. He is no fight with the One Who is Within you but certainly he can pin down "YOU"! If you know your enemy you will surely know that Praying and seeking more of God is the only way you can escape the trap that beast prepared for you and for the people whom you love. I always remind myself of thise three key points and you can try to remember also. But before you can even identify and know those three. You Must KNOW YOUR GOD! Who is bigger than everything and all circumstance in life. He is in the beginning. He created all things. He is God Whom is ALL KNOWING!!! "Live to the fullness of God with appreciation of daily living and small details of life for the fulfillment of your greater purpose and long term commitment with God." My View of Life -Wilmie"The Favoured" #Godsmove #LoveofGod #allformyJesus #life #timetoponder #wisdom Whenever i passed by this store in Seletar Mall Singapore. The queu is so long, like queuing up for a blockbuster hit in the hollywood. So, I always wonder what is the food there? Does it really taste good?I imagine myself queung up and even eating. They might be offering something really good. I must taste it. So today my admin from work let me have an early lunch break so i run across the store with no people queung up yet. I went in froNt of the door and looked at the menu and i found waa pigs! I don't really kike eating the babes!!!! I told myself, crop! I have been wondering for quite some time for something i actually don't like at the first placw. It turned out that even though many loved the food there sometimes what many like still don't fit you. It's just not for me. Hahahhahah..this is one interesting moment for me that i want to write up! 😊😂😘😉 Say No to Peer Pressure! Society Pressure! Technology Pressure! Culture Pressure! Be who you are! Eat what you like! Buy only you can afford! Do what you are only capable yet but aspire to be better. Be a Christian under persecution! Live life for your true purpose and not with what the world want you to live. Please God and not please men! Mentoring 102: God is a God of chances. "Love and Grace" She is one of my answered prayer. She is one of my one time shot miracle. I have met many in the streets but few have responded to the call. This girl was one of them. She might have responded quite delay in the natural eyes but then in God everything is in perfect time. Now is her time to blossom. I am so blessed with her life. Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen." Those chosen ones are the ones who responded yes, for the call is an open invitation. I am so glad and my heart is full of joy seeing people changed by the Love of God. ThAnk You Jesus for the opportunity to witness Your love and grace in the lives of many people. 😉😊 Praise Your Name Jesus! Relationship matters: Today i find myself discussing love matters to my mentees. A very rare moment. Hahah.. I don't know how and why but the conversation went there. I figured i might as well share some points also in the public. Blessy is reading a book: "When God writes your love story", so as the conversation goes she finds similarities of what is written in the book and what i am advising them. I answered i haven't read the book yet but i am speaking from the wisdom of God. When we mature in faith we gain more wisdom, especially when we ourselves learned from such situation. It is not about who you want to pray, or if you are praying for the right one, or if the one i am praying for is actually praying for me also. Before you even go down to that thought friends please take this from me: "Find yourself first in God's hand. Know yourself! Know who you really are in the eyes of the Father. You must know your purpose in the kingdom of God. What is your mission? When you finally find your purpose in life in line with the will of God that is the only time you can figure out who can be your other half. Because that someone must have the same calling as you have. Both of you must be in the same boat so you can both paddle together to get to where you need to go not just faster but easier. Don't look or settle for just a christian man or woman. It doesn't mean he or she is a christian they are already qualified to be THE ONE! Will that christian uplift you? Does he have the same calling and passion? Careful friends! Listen to God! Find yourself first before you even pray for someone. Know yourself for you to be able to know THE ONE! I was truly blessed with the preaching earlier in the church. My heart goes for the little ones. Like what Jesus said: 13Then little children were brought to him for him to lay his hands on them and pray. But the disciples scolded those who brought them. 14 But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matt. 19:13-14) There is something special about children. They do capture my heart so dearly because in their innocent years of existence they can teach me a lot on how i should live my life as an adult. This line has always been famous: "have a childlike faith!" But do we really understand the concept of it? Childlike faith is a faith with full dependance on God, with full trust of the circustances in the hands of our Father. I have learned a lot from them more than me teaching them. I saw how children enjoy their lives in full simplicy, with full of joy beyond the fact that they have been abandoned by their parents when i went to Vietnam to spent time with the kids there. I saw the genuine and passionate service and worship of kids in Isabela philippines. They have taught me to be a true worshipper. I have found pure love in the kids in cambodia where in most of them are abandoned, harassed and bruised by their loved ones and the world but i saw how forgiving they are that made me question myself: "how can i hate so easily when this children here have gone through much more pain than me but still able to love each other in the orphanage and worship God like there is no stain of hate in their hearts." I have witnessed that eagerness to learn and celebrate christmas with full joy with the kids in batam. They have shown me so much about God's grace, love and mercy more than any adult i have been with. And you will be surprise how much wisdom you can pick up with these little ones. Since i am writing this write up, i figured i need to share one thing that was said in one preaching of Pastor Mike Reeds: "You will be surprise with the wisdom you can get from these children, there was this 8 year old child, one of many i have interviewed in the church to get wisdom over adult issues of today. I asked: When is the best time to kiss? An 8 year old kid answered: When you are already rich! So i asked why. He answered because if you will kiss someone that would mean you will already marry him or her, so before you marry someone you must have enough money by then to get married." What a profound wisdom isn't it? Funny, but true in a biblical context and you just heard that from an 8 year old kid. Kids today is our next generation of Faithful Christians, Prayer Warriors and Preachers and Evangelist. We must take heart and take part on their mouldings in their Christian walk. We must make sure of their future. Have you been doing your part in bringing up these children in the right perspective of being a Follower of Christ? Remember! They are WATCHING!!!! My Daily Miracle: God Cares About Everything You Care. May 1 came, It's labour day and it also happened to be my friends bridal shower. So I and Bless went out to buy ingredients for my Tuna Pasta around before noon. We came out and walk towards the nearest grocery store but then we need to buy a Tiara also so we decided to go to the bus stop and go straight to the nearest mall. We manage to find what we need but time runs so fast. It's almost one in the afternoon and i need to go for a house viewing by 2pm. We went outside and decided to take a cab instead of waiting for the bus. We waited and waited. Another reason we can not take the bus is because bless don't have her ez link with her and we only got 1.30 dollars with us. The minimum fare is 1.40 if you will pay by coins. We waited but we can't get a cab in an explanable reasons. There were a lot but they never stop when we tried to wave on them. Then we notice that all of the buses that are going to my place are one by one passing and i was thinking, maybe we should just take the bus. On the other thought all of the bus numbers already passed by we might need to wait anothe half an hour for the next rounds. So, we waited and one funny but strikinh thing happened that convicted me to just take the bus. There was one cab approaching towards us the is available but then as it approaches the traffic light before us turned red. We waited and at the moment that the traffic light signbwd "go" the cab light turned green and became hired. I was left shocked and said: "What? Nobody is in there!" Then we saw another bus approaching so i told bless we should get in this bus. So she agreed and we run towards the bus stop and we got in. We asked the bus driver how mucb we need to pay 4 stops from there. He answered us: " 1.40" We told him that we only have 1.30, he shaked his head and said sorry the minimum fare is 1.40. We acted searching for coins again but told him we really don't have enough so he points on that area where we will drop the coin and smiled on us. We thank him, are so happy! It was another experience of love and grace for us. We are all smiling went to the seat and right at the moment we sat down, Ting!!! Message from Julius saying: "viewing was moved to 3pm". Bless smilingly said, you are favoured! Hahaahah.. Then i realized that God was actually telling us not to take the cab. All along it was all there! "My dear children you are not in a hurry anymore, don't spend extra penny! Ride the bus and you will witness grace and love!!! 😊😊😊😊😇😇😇😍😍😍😍 Thank You Lord!!!! You love us so much!!! You care so much for everything that we care of. Small or big things.😊😊😊 love you Jesus!!! Glory to Your Name always! |
